![]() A submix can be a mono track, a stereo track or several mono tracks that contain the mixture of the original tracks, preserving the volume, pan, and effects for each track. The Track view Tracks > Bounce to Track(s) command lets you combine one or more audio tracks into a submix. Get to the Sonar Help from the SONAR toolbar at the top left area in SONAR, go to Help>Getting Started and click the search tab to enter the search words. You can search for "Bounce to tracks" and "Archive" in the SONAR Help to see this info. The below info is from the SONAR Help file. But if you have some in mind already, let me know and I'll check them out. But how would I know which tracks to group up?Īlso, I will try to search for some threads that you are talking about. Well the project has a total of 40-60 tracks, and yes I can see that it makes to not export each individiaul tracks but rather groups of tracks. How many tracks in the project? The ME is not going to want or need all of them (they master not re-mix), you might want to do submixes and make stems for those.Īlso, if you search, there are a number of threads about mastering with Sonar, or using 3rd party plugins. I'm having trouble understanding that second part, about archiving all the other tracks What do you mean by "bounce the project to a stereo 1 track"? And also. Or, bounce to a stereo 1 track mix, archive all the other tracks, and master the stereo mix in SONAR, or Mix down to one track stereo Mix and copy that track to a new project and Master it there. Some people like to get the Mix like they want it, then bounce the project to a stereo 1 track, then export that one track to a wave file, then import that 1 track stereo mix into a Wave editor to master, ![]()
