They obviously close mic the cymbals with ribbons - so you get separately only cymbals and smooth sound because of the ribbons, then you get a nice dimension of the whole kit from the "ueber mic" U47 and the rest is classic drum micing approach as I can see. Ribbons might help and a mono U47 overhead wouldn't hurt anyone I've also seen Nina Simone live at Bordeux 1976 DVD and the drummer had a mono RE20 as drum overhead and the drum sound had some resemblance to one kind of "In Rainbows" drums - the dry, tight, mid-rangey sound. The guy sounds like a drum machine -really tight and plays strange and "inhuman" (in the good meaning of the word) grooves! The name Radiohead comes from the Talking Heads song, 'Radio Head', from the 'True Stories' album.
